Those are very accurate looking moulds! I would like to see one assembled.
What would you do with a 1:100 747? That thing would have a four square foot, footprint!

Default Air bus DC-10

Air bus was a generic term for a plane in the late 60s and early 70s that had high capacity, wide body, but just smaller in size (and shorter in range) than a 747.

Entex Models called its DC-10 an air bus, too, as did Alps (Japanese toy maker)

Default Looking for 747 and DC-8 1/100

I've started a search for both the Entex 747 and DC-8 in 1/100. I know Doyusha makes these models but have heard varying sides to whether or not the Doyusha is the same as the Entex. I'm also looking for a Revell 747-100 or 200 in 1/144. If anyone has or knows of someone wanting to get rid of these kits I sure would be interested in buying.

Thanks very much
Chuck

Hi Bropac,

For your information, initially this magnificent 1/100 airliner kit range was started way back in the seventies in Japan by NITTO KAGAKU. The same range was for sale in the US under the name ENTEX (sometimes with different decals). Later these same kits were on the market as DOYUSHA (Japan).

Happy collecting & building!

Excuse me but why is that I can't see any pictures?Talking about 1:100 scale kits....i remembered seeing a Boeing 747-400 United Airlines here in Singapore hobby shop and another one at my head quarters. Is that what you are talking about? And does that aircraft have interiors?

I am planning to make a commercial aircraft out of wood as detailed as the real thing when I am free.I will make the interior structures then the seats followed by transparent windows and lights inside finally a thin paper-like wood onto the structure.Don't worry I will post some pictures when its ready....It is most likey to be completed at the end of this year to the early 2006.
