Default 1/40 scale Pacmin Boeing 777-200

After sitting on the guest bed for months I finally got the stand made and the model mounted beside its sister, my 1/40 Pacmin 747-400 EXTENDED RANGE with 787 wing tpis and 747-8 engines. Shown with other models including 1/50 scale Air jamaica DC-8-61 by Westway and 1/72 Qantas 747 cutaway by Westway.

Coming soon, 1/50 Boeing 727-200 Air Jamaica, model by Westway, refurb by Atlantic Models.

That's a very nice blank 747-200 mold you have there? Is it 1:100 scale? Who made it?

It is a 100 scale done by Atlantic Models, slated to become Pan Am. Check with them at atlantic-models.com, speak with Roger or Carol, really cool people!

I remember seeing an article from the late 90's in FI about the 747-400X QLR. Like many 777X concepts at the time it never 'took off the ground'. However I wasn't aware that a model was made (presumably at the request of Boeing - perhaps for presenting the concept to the airlines).
