Just thought i would share this very rare find with the collectors on here

it is a solid resin approx 3 foot long which i think works out around 1/40th scale a one piece moulding of the air sofia cargo antanov 12.

made for the airline & maker not known

O M G!! LZ-SFS is ex LOT Polish Airlines SP-LZB An-12.. What a find! Kevin, You have some DHC-7, DHC-8, how did you find them? Do You have dates and places of venues I can visit and find such rarities?

the next uk fairs are luton in october and kempton park near heathrow in november 2012
the above antanov was a tip off from a friend and i was lucky enough to buy it .
it will proberbly end up in the turkish collection but other than putting it on my blog page site i have really not done any pushing to sell it yet

the dash 7 and 8 finds came from a dealer at a uk toy fair who mainly dealt in toy cars but it had a few planes he got from an employee of de-havilland ,
lucky for me he sold me them all .

after collecting it at the weekend i would say this is some kind of eastern block produced model heavy moulding but not resin still has the pouring point on the underside of the nose where they poured in the molten plastic or what ever compound they used to make it ,

not to the high standards of pacmin or space but then again the models from the eastern side of europe dont have the same quality control as uk and usa
but still a nice model
