Default Hubbley Kiddie Toys

Is there any collector able to give me detailled informations on the Navy Fighter Bomber P47 with folding wings .
I found a model , in France, few days ago, but unfortunatly some parts are missing . As I dont think those kind of small plastics components will be available as loose parts , I want to try to realize a new one .For this activity, I need to know the dimensions and a drawing of the two pieces canopy . I try to imagine something , based on the guide of Sue Ridchardson but pictures are not enough accurate for this kind of job .

On the other hand , I am looking for others Hubley models , pre war of post war , folding wings rateher than standard type , in fair conditions .

Thanks in advance

1) It is an extremely common toy made in the 60s and 70s - it was one of the first planes I ever got, Christmas 1966! Fairly easy to find at collectible toy shows in US.

2) It was available singularly or in a two-pack - pictured in Sue's book.

3) It was reproduced by, I think, Ertl some years ago.

Thanks, Antony for those precisions.

Unfortunatly I wont be able to be in USA for the next toy show . Gasp !!!!

Do you think it is possible to find a canopy as loose part or am I dreaming ????

If I dream , and if you have this model , will it be possible to make a drawing of the cockpit ? and sent it by mail or by post at least .
