Reminds me of the shoes Al Bundy tried to sell after he claimed he spoke with God.

Yep, that's why it feels like you're walking barefoot in them!

Better to go all African or whatever the PC term is this week and just walk about bare footed, toughen up your sole a bit. I started doing this after, due to various reasons, I ended up walking round central London like that.
Just got to watch out for the Sh*te and so on ![]() My feet wouldn't fit in those silly little things anyway, my feet are SPECIAL!! No, seriously, they are - if you were to put up a whole load of x - rays of feet with mine in with them and ask me to pick out my own, I'd be able to do it with ease, and I have done in the past at the hospital ![]() I have to wear boots and a splint all the time just for ankle support for example - meet me, and 9 times out of 10, I'll look like I'm going hiking. My feet are always waterproof and I can walk through things without a second thought, whilst everybody else has to find the least muddy or wet route. Cue me looking a bit irked when, out hiking somewhere, as I have to wait for everyone else to gingerly make their way round that marsh or bog I've just happily scrunched through without even thinking about it ![]() Bloody daft if you ask me, just get yourself some walking boots and be done with it! My boots, if worn practically every day in a heavy duty fashion as normal shoes, will last 2 or 3 years each, so they certainly go a long way for the money. Eventually the soles wear through completely though. I do have other shoes too, but they tend to last for years on end as they hardly ever get worn. I've had a pair of trainers for nearly 10 years for example, and they are still in good condition. I don't know exactly how many shoes the average person goes through each year, but I'd imagine I'd be below average! Doug, long term resident of the Podiatry Department at the Southern General. I have ABNORMAL FEET, and I'm proud of it!

I like these fivefinger deals. Look's novel. Only thing is, my Green Bay Packer flip flops have a lot of tread life to go. Still, I'll check into these cool feet. Thanks u.s.airways92.

Yes, there are four styles and each style has four or five different colours available.

I just took a look at the website ... my 2 favourites are:1. Classic: Dusty Blue. 2. Sprint: Blue/Aqua. Yes, I love Blue. I was hoping they might have something in Pink - but, no. Jo ![]() |

![]() I can imagine what my Podiatrist would say if I turned up in a pair of those, he he!! Besides, my right foot would mis-shape it so stupidly easily. Oh yes, I do have 5 fingers on each hand, as well as 5 toes on each foot, but that's all.
