Reminds me of a turbo prop version of a C-17
Perhaps our military forces are cutting back due to fuel prices

It looks like a mating between a C-130 and a C-17. Actually, I kind of like it, it's a funky looking aircraft, like the 747SP. Notice the counter-rotating props, inboard and outboard? I wonder why they have that feature. Anybody know the answer to that?

How many times do I have tell those guys, when you put the props on, make sure they all run the same way!
Those jet engineers have no idea, when it comes to props!!!!!!!!

To cancel torque effects, I guess. Every pre-WWII multi-engined military French aircraft had this feature. Good for the pilot, not that good for mechanics.
