You might remember when this accident happened 8 years ago this March.
This Southwest Airlines flight from Vegas overshot the runway atBurbank. The plane smashed past the airport fence, careened across the street and ended up with a collapsed landing gear, right next to a gas station. But that's not the amazing part!!! |

No, that was Southwest flight 1248 at Chicago/Midway when a boy on the ground was killed. This photo is of the Southwest crash in Burbank, no fatalities.

Ah, but there will come a day when we will look fondly at how cheap gas was at $4 a gallon....

Yeah, at least there were no fatalities in this one. And Gospodin, we will some day (Hopefully it will be a long time from now, though

You liberals posting here remember, Obama and his fellow dem's this week made comments they think the higher gas prices are "good" because it will reduce consumption. This is just one of their BS excuses for not drilling off shore and in Alaska. Then these same liberals say we should have alternative energy, but won't approve nuclear power plants. Typical for these people who also make comments like I was for the war before I voted against it. ![]()

After the last 8 years, I'm surprised that you would consider giving the borrow and spend Republicans a third chance.

8 years ago, I was a student, so I probably was doing something similar. Just, with the added dimension of alcohol
