I'll be in SD mid-Sept, controlling planes at SAN tower.

..... That brings to mind a fond memory of a stewardess (that's what they were back then) named Karen for United that was based out of San Diego. I had a flight with her in June 1967 from Chicago to San Diego and she took a shine to me. She ended up being my San Diego girlfriend (OK, so I had two... I was a sailor, what can I say?) when she was in town. I was going to Hospital Corps School at Balboa Naval Hospital and I gained a lot of respect from my buddies as the guy who was dating a stewardess! Gave me a new meaning of "Flying the Friendly Skies of United." heh, heh. It was a great three months. Lost touch later.
1967 was the last time I was in San Diego... lots of changes since then I know.Dave (maybe that's why a lot of United models are in my collection) |

I live in La Jolla, but as of right now I'm in Honolulu! My guess is that you are a stew from Hawaiian Airlines. I'm here..you're there! See how that works...irony!
