I guess it's quite off topic, I recently started to collect airlines' ground service vehicles, scale 1/43. Here is what I currently have :
![]() At first I only wanted to add some flavor to my Air France aircraft collection, but I quickly got hooked ! What puzzles me though is that apart from some European airlines and Aeroflot, I wasn't able to find models with other colors (excepted the AA Chevy). Maybe someone could tell me a bit more ? |

I do collect various odds and ends, but if it's diecast vehicles, then, I started collecting emergency vehicles, i.e. Police, Ambulance, Fire brigade, Coast Guard, etc etc, originally for my model railway.
But, since I have a layout no more, there isn't much need for them now ![]() Thinking of selling some, but I'll keep some of the better and unusual ones. Also I'm selling a lot of my trains, but again, I'll keep the really special ones, such as the Immaculate and mint in box, Wrenn, 8F, the Merseyrail Yellow '73, and 59003 in it's special DB livery, not to mention various other lovelies. You have a very colorful collection of retro airline vehicles. I couldn't say why these vehicles aren't released for airlines outside of Europe. But, I do know that Corgi has two 1/43 Saab 9000 "Fly Virgin" turbos on the market.
