Default Aviation Artists...Unite!

Ok..all of you Aviation Artists out there, let's see your stuff! I'll start this thread with some of my work!

This first painting, done in acrylic on canvas, was commissioned for a client last year. It depicts a Cessna CE-650 Citation VII in the 'dirty' configuration.

Here's mine. Not as cool like our Driver's Citation though
Hope you guys find it cool enough. lol.
I still need some practice to make the wheels tredimensional though. Sorry for the quality of this photo, It's kinda washed out, I don't have a scanner, so I just took a snapshot with my camera, too bad you can see the lines (due to the flash) where I draw with the pencil on the shower.

Watersalute at TLV airport of LH A346.

Awsome pic, C-REX. I love the perspective that you portrayed in your drawing. Keep up the good work!

Here is another type of illustration that I am working on. The aircraft (in this case, a Dassault Falcon 50) is painted in acrylic paints on top of an actual terminal chart used by pilots to figure out approach directions and airport familiarization, among other things. I am working on other aircraft in the same format. Next up is a Southwest Airlines 737.
This painting has been framed and looks great in an office or a den.

Here's another painting. This one was also done for a client. This is a Gulfstream G-IV (G400). It's also acrylic on canvas, measures 24"X20".

Here is my latest...
This is a Southwest Airlines 737 done in acrylic on an actual Jepps Terminal Chart. It measures 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Hope you guys like it.

Next up...an Air Canada A319! Wish me luck!

Great thread, CitationDrvr! I love aviation art. Your paintings are excellent! I'm especially partial to airliner aviation art, so I have to say I like your SW 737 the best, and being on a Jeppesen chart is a really unique look. I love it!

Do you have any profile renderings, or anything in pencil, CitationDrvr? As for your Air Canada A319, will it be acrylic as well?

Here's my offering, although these have both been posted before on the forums.

This is all I have scanned right now. These were both done by pencil. My next drawing, which I'll start (and hopefully finish) this summer will be a profile of a Continental 727-100 in the black meatball scheme. (Randy should be happy to hear that!)

That is just too cool! I've really been digging the SW Canyon Blue scheme lately, especially wingletted birds, and I love the look of it on the Jeppesen chart.

Here are mine from High School. I do computer illustration now. But I should get back into other mediums again. These were done in the 1990s.

Much appreciated feedback, Mike..especially when looking at your awsome work! The Air Canada A319 will also be in acrylic on a Jepps chart. I am planning to do a bunch this way.

Great work, Chansen! I remember screwing around in high school, drawing airplanes in the indexes of books and even in the test papers that I should have wrote an essay on! hahaha!! My dad admitted to me that he used to do the same thing!

Yours looks very accomplished. I will have to relearn. I also did some watercolor in High School. Would like to do that again but adding a very narrow point black pen. Saw artistry like that in Russia and in Quebec, Canada. I also have an Aloha one from High School. Will find the image and post it also done during the same time.

No problem. Looking forward to seeing the A319. You say you're planning to do a bunch... got plans to do any Continental planes?

Cool drawings! I especially like the United 747SP. Post some of your computer illustrations if you don't mind.
