No problem. I'm just glad that it has been cleared up.

... well... now it's only a 4th year since I began to learn so I don't think it's good enough for the public yet. And Il barbiere is also too hard for me at the moment.

I get points for even remembering she lives in Canada...geez. She hasn't posted in months, so I'd forgotten exactly where she lived, seemed to remember Montreal, but that's probably because I've been in touch with Faheem in Montreal. If you can find out about her, if she's even interested in keeping up with the forum, that would be cool. It's a shame when people just drift away, and we have so few women in this hobby, nice to have the female perspective on some of these threads, dilutes the testosterone overflow.

Well That's Not A Song But An Entire Opera.
I Prefer Rossini Over Guiseppe Verdi, But Both Have Similarities In Thier Style Yet Both Have Very Different Styles As Well.

Tunes From The La Forza del Destino I Like: Ah! per sempre, La Vergine degli angeli, Pace, pace, mio Dio, Cripes There's 50 Songs In This Opera I Can't Even Name Them All.

Back To Basics. Listening To The William Tell Overture Now.

Sure. At the moment I'm singing H. Purcell's Dido's lament (opera Dido and Aeneas). Absolutely gorgeous piece of music!

Ok, ok, I don't know where ANY of you Canucks live, and Montreal IS Canada for me (French Canada, to be sure, but still Canada). I pride myself on a considerable knowledge of geography, but placing individuals based on a short blurb on the profile side bar, I just forget. Heck, Heavy, I think you're in Toronto, but then you could tell me you're from Loup Garreou or something...

I'll Help You Out. Toronto Was Up Until Recently, Divided Into Several Smaller Cities.
Toronto (The Core) York. East York. North York (You Guys Get NEW York) Etibokoke, Rexdale & Scarborough. I Live In Scraborough Which Is In The East End. We Are Now One Amalgamated City Of Toronto Over 3 Million.
Our Airport Lester B Pearson Is Actually In Mississaga.(Malton)

GTA Is Around 5 Million, Which Includes Mississaga, Brampton, Toronto (The Amalgamated Cities Above) Vaughan, Concord, Richmond Hill, Markham, & Pickering.

Loup Garreau? Perhaps You Mean Gatineau Across From Ottawa Which Borders Quebec On The Ottawa River Just East Of Hull.

Loup garreau was a joke. I may not be spelling it right, but it means "werewolf" in French. Now I'm sure not to get lost the next time I visit Toronto, and I'll look you up, Heavy...let's have lunch. Now that we've hijacked Lenka's thread, we probably need to give it back.

..... Once upon a time when I was young (like 30-odd years ago) I lived in Mississauga during the hockey season when I played in the Ontario League, then with the Maple Leaf's practice squad. My thoughts were of hockey, good beer and attractive young ladies then. What a couple severe concussions can do to that! Now I skate in Maple Leaf Gardens only in my memories, but what damned fine memories they were!
..... Took this "Herringchoker" from Nova Scotia a long time to even learn to spell Mississauga. I should have found a place in York.

The French word for werewolf is "loup-garou", pronounced "loo-garoo". Nice, you almost got it.
