Hmm, might sound like a crazy suggestion, but most of the files I have downloaded for FSs past usually come with a "Readme" file. Why not try finding it in that file and reading it up. That should give you advice on how to install the aircraft. If not, I think Flightsim.com or simviation.com might have some small tutorials that tell you how.

here this might help:
1. Click on my computer and go to the C drive
2. Find the folder Program Files
3. Finnd the folder microsoft games.
4. Open the main FSX folder and look for the aircraft folder

I don't know, but I know how to open up the fsx folder its just that I don't have an aircraft folder, and unusuallly all of my downloads don't have a readme.

Did you remembered to 1) Check if you need the base aircraft (as required), or Check, that you put the single file in there? Sometimes what happens with me is that I accedentally put have planes/textures that are inside a file, but I accedentally didn't check to see if there was one more file I had to pass through. For example, even though this is FS 9 example, it can apply to what I'm trying to say; lets say I got a Tu-154M, the Directory it's supposed to be in is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\Tu-154M, but I didn't check to make sure I was right, so after I extracted the file, it was in C:\........\Aircraft\Project Tupolev\Tu-154M. Also suggest making sure everything is in the right place too. Sometimes aircraft have more things that you need to place in the appropriate directories.

Well I checked the aircraft and they did have a pretty big download size and they don't say its required to have another aircraft installed with it, so i think it just by its self.
