Just been looking at a similar forum to this, and there is a German guy on there that calls himself "GliderPilot"-and it's not me! He even spells it the same way! Accept no imitations, I am the real GliderPilot!

(No relation).

(Tongue firmly in cheek whilst writing this post-just a bit of fun-don't read too much into it).

How bizarre!

No idea how this happened, pure coincidence. I chose the name as i have been flying gliders since 1982, albeit with a break for a few years after getting married.

What's to hate about glider pilots? Unless you fly those awful light aircraft jobs!

I never said I hated power pilots! I sometimes wish they would look where they are going as I've been close to a few too many times. (Power gives way to gliders remember) I know it's difficult to see a sailplane sometimes, but I do have an 18 metre wingspan, so I'm not that small.
