Default NFL Season

Well, the results are in for Sunday's games. How did your team fare?
I'm a huge Green Bay Packer fan and know its gonna be a long season. Although the Pack has been declining for quite some time, I still enjoy the bright spots....What few are left.
Still, I will wear my Packer cap and cheese wedge proudly.

Go Pack!

Amen - going to be a long season this year.

I am a true cheesehead not to mention a Packer Shareholder. If I survived the 70s and 80s, I can handle this season too.

Yeah...The '70s and '80s. Brutal times they were. But, I don't think any Packer fan can forget where they were Monday night, October 17, 1983. Packers vs Redskins. Lynn Dickie, James Lofton, Paul Coffman, John Jefferson, Jan Stenerud taking on Joe Theismann, Charlie Brown, Art Monk, John Riggins and Mark Moseley in what could have only been choreographed by Don (Aerial) Coryell. That game stings Redskins fans to this day.

I am a diehard Oakland Raiders fan...have been since they came back in 1995. I've been at most of their homegames since, sitting through the good, the bad and the really ugly.

Go Raiders; we play tonight btw...Monday Night Football, baby!

A decisive 24-10 victory over the Texans in yesterdays season kickoff premiere of a revamped receiving corps featuring the pure speed of Donte Stallworth has given me some positive hope for the 2006 season for the Eagles...the main team which I follow!

Glad to see that the Cowpokes choked yesterday, and a loss tonight by the Redskin's will make it a great weekend for me in the NFC east!

Both of our teams are in the same boat: Shutout openers.

I heard that Raider fans can get pretty rowdy at their home games. What have you experienced there?

Manning Bowl I was worth the hype, and although Indy's defense is killing me, GO COLTS!

We are just glad that the Seahawks escaped Detroit with a win since losing the Super Bowl there in the last real game they played.

At least the defense played well.

New York Jets, if the offense can ever stop the other team from ripping the QBs head off every opening game. OH yeah, and looks we need another kicker again.

In December 2002, five of us (2 Jets fans/3 Packer fans) drove up from Virginia Beach to see the Jets-Packers game. Although the Packers fell to Pennington and company, I still had a great time. With a tailgate party before and after the game, a bet was established that whichever team lost, the fans of the losing team would have to cook the food and serve the drinks to the fans of the winning team. The rest was history.

I was impressed when the stadium piped in the roar sound of a jet everytime the Jets scored. That's me in the hard hat. In the second picture, check out all the cheese heads in the stadium.

0-2 at this point, looks like another year of disapointment. Oh well, still dig the Silver and Black!

Well, I haven't experienced too much rowdiness at Raiders games...I mean, there's the typical bunch of drunk ghetto kids, but apparently unbeknownst to 99.9998% of NFL fans, EVERY team has drunk idiot fans but Raiders fans get the bad rep.

Btw, been going to games for 11 years, that is, since they came back home to OAK. That's right, I was 11 years young at my first Raiders game.
