space shuttle july 4 2006

i know it's not an airplane but omg did anyone watch the take off of the space shuttle? i had a rush of adrenaline as they were announcing 200, 400, 500, 700 mph. it may have gone higher i just didn't hear it. so cool.

it was a nice show for July 4th. It's interesting how we were getting so confortable every time the shuttle was sent to space. I hope NASA & the private sector start working on a safer vehicle for a more productive space program.
