Lollo,

I watched that match. The match was fantastic. gana has a good team but Italia showed its best and IMHO is one of the favorites to win the cup.

USA was pretty flat against the Czechs... No hope against Italy either... Hope they can beat Ghana.

What does a Dutch soccer fan do after he sees the Netherlands win the World Championship on TV?

He switches off his Playstation, goes to bed, and there, his dreams continue...

What do you call Dutchmen playing in the final game?

Referees.

Do you remember the 1998 final against france? Ronaldo yesterday was the same as that sad day. I do not know what is going on with him.

I don't know what is happening now, maybe the same things that happened in Milan when he was playing for Inter and now is doing Adriano: too many nights in the discos, too many drinks (only drink???), girls and SURELY too much money! The last months Adriano was a ghost in the Inter team: one shot two errors.... I really hope he will come back after the summer and will play as he can do!

Probably that´s the reason. @ days before the match most of the brazilian team went to a disco and stayed there until 6:00 a.m.

Well, the USA got to score a 1-1 with Italy my friends. I wish I was in NY to see a bunch of Italo~Americans being extremely confused on what direction to cheer.

Go USA!!!

Great match Australia Vs Brasil.

Go Ecuador!!!

Yeah yeah yeah... We Dutch are masters in soccer:
  1. Our own Oranje ---> World Champion 2006
  2. Coach of Australia: Guus Hiddink ---> Dutch
  3. Coach of South Korea: **** Advocaat ---> Dutch
  4. Coach of Trinidad & Tobago: Leo Beenhakker ---> Dutch

Germans only have the stadiums!

World Champion 1954: Germany
World Champion 1974: Duitsland (aka Germany) (after defeating the Netherlands in the final game )
World Champion 1990: De Stinkmoffen (aka Germany)
World Champion 2006: Het is weer raak...

2nd place 1966: Germany
2nd place 1982: Germany
2nd place 1986: Germany
2nd place 2002: Germany

3rd place 1934: Germany
3rd place 1970: Germany

European Champion 1972: Germany
European Champion 1980: Germany
European Champion 1996: Germany

2nd place 1976: Germany
2nd place 1992: Germany

Don Clipper, you were saying...?

EDIT: Maybe the Oranjes really should win the Championship 2006, so that finally, and once in their history, they know what it feels like win a World Cup. Naw, just kidding...

Nothing, just that when you delete all the second, third and last places, only a few "wins" remain. And they are all in the past which mean the entire German team is history!

Yeah, thats why the stadiums are packed with Germans screaming Hüp Holland Hüp, just to see Oranje train! Hehehe Germans are switching sides already!

Anyway, if it all works out than I can't wait till you Germans kick those English azz in the 1/8th finals!

Which is more than the one European win the Oranjes have to offer - zero World Cup firsts.

Just kidding you. The Dutch team is playing real good soccer (as long as they leave Frank Rijkaard at home , let´s see how far they´ll go this time. And I wonder whether we´ll play England or Sweden. I´d just love to see Beckham and Rou-nayyy cry after they´ve lost against us - again.

Yuri, what is "Ecuador"?

Hehe.... Ecuador really got their azzes kicked today.... Bit suprised though but still.

AFAIK you guys will have to deal with Sweden, not England now... Good luck! I will prepare a major defeat tomorrow of the Dutch team against Argentina.
