Default Pic's WARBIRD AIR MUSEUM TITUSVILLE FL!!

My Wife & I went out the the Valiant Air Command Warbird Air Museum in Titusville FL today.
These are pic's of some of the aircraft on display & being restored.
Some of the aircraft are & flying condition & others are just static displays.
The also had a great indoor Museum with thousands of aviation artifacts from WWI to Today.
Sorry if these pic's are not the best I rushed through most of them because the batteries in my digital camera were going dead.
Id say this place is one of Floridas hidden treasures, if your in the area check it out.

Nice lookin' F-8C! I like how there's a lot of newer warbirds (Korean, Vietnam war) and the recently-retired F-14s.

I love those good old WWII birds as well...it's just that post-WWII treatment of warbirds should have taught us a lesson regarding historical preservation. of 12,000+ Boeing B-17s built, only 12 or 13 are still flying. To me that's just wrong!

I fear that the same thing will happen to the older jets. I am not sure those who are able are doing their part to preserve the early jet models. I mean, how many F9Fs, F-8s and F3Hs are flying? None, I think. It is nice to see F-86s and MiG-15s at airshows though.

I agree lets not make the same mistake as we did with the old warbirds.
There are still plenty of vintage jets siting around in the desert or as gate guards, somebody has to save a few before they are all gone.

Impressive. I didn't know myself that there was a warbird museum in Titusville. Hey, have you had the chance to visit the Warbird Museum in Kissimmee yet? I seem to remember that they have a B-17, and if you pay them a certain amount (I don't remember what the amount was, but I know its not cheap), you could get a ride in a MASH helicopter or in a old Warbird.
