Nope, the missus dropped by.

I had a hard time convincing her that I NEEDED to watch Hamburg bash Schalke (well, 1:0, anyway... )

HAMBURG WON!!!

Ahem... sorry, I had to tell SOMEBODY.

Of course! On Saturdays, "the Game" is always on at my house.

The Leafs were flat last night. They cannot continue to rely on Belfour to bail them out every game.

Dany Heatley was a good acquisition for Ottawa. Bet Deltaflot wishes Atlanta never traded him.

I thought about posting the Leafs for Sale and see how much money I could make. OOOPPPPS Sorry I would probably have to pay someone to take them. Boy they need to wake up. I knew it was going to be a rough season.

Always nice to see the Leafs get their *** kicked.

What's great is that Ottawa can't do this to them when it counts.

I thought Domi went down very nicely in his fight!

Arius ... I think Belfour needs a vacation.

Craig ... me too - and every other hockey fan out there!

Mike ... I was thrilled that the refs let that fight go on for as long as they did! This year they've been stopping every fight the second it starts. I love the fights and when fists are flying, uniforms are being pulled off, equipment is going all directions, etc. That's the best!

Mark ... The funniest part is that Domi's nose looks the same unbroken as it does broken from this fight. His face is the human equivalent of a Bulldog!

Jim ... last Saturday night's game was so bad, I'm ashamed to even call it "hockey". The Leafs were so slow and sluggish, made me wonder if they were all hungover from a Friday night party! Unfortunately the Sens were really "on" during that game.

sammyk ... re: the Leafs getting their butts kicked ... "them's fightin' words". hehe, just kidding!

Take care everybody.

Wow! Must be a Canadian woman thing. I always thought the fights are what ruined the game. Making it more a sport for thugs than skilled athletes. What do I know, I'm just a war mongering Neocon.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good clean check as much as the next person, but fighting? Carry on!

He also needs a defense in front of him. More often than not, he's left to the wolves.

I agree with you on this one 100%!!!!!

Jo-Anne

p.s. - I wonder if Sundin is actually going to wear a visor now? By the look of Pat Quinn awhile back with his 2 raccoon eyes, he needs to wear one as well. (rather funny that a coach would need to wear a visor, eh? haha).

Looking forward to tonight's game!

I don't care what Don Cherry says, God love him, but I don't know why every player doesn't wear a visor.

Arius ... I agree with you on this 100%!!! I've heard every friggin' excuse on Earth as to why players don't want to wear visors. How sad that one day they might learn the hard way why they really needed to wear one.

I heard on the radio out here that the NHLPA was considering making the use of visors mandatory. Suppose we'll have to wait and "see" what happens.
