I have a question. I'm looking at spending hundreds (thousands?) on an ebay auction. Problem is, the seller will not accept Pay Pal. I am not comfortable at all not paying by pay pal, becuase I don't want to lose my buyer protection coverage if the item is garbage. He has a good track record, but only as a buyer.
Upon inquiring if he would accept Pay Pal, he told me he would but payment would go to a friend, who he is actually selling the model for. As far as I can see, if I send payment to a non-sellers email address, I will lose Pay Pal protection. Does anyone know whether this is correct? Also, what is the maximum Pya Pal ebay coverage?. Any thoughts from some experienced ebay people.?Thanks. |

I agree 100%. Be careful! I am not an e-bay expert but I´ve heard that the PAY-PAL "insurance" is not so good as it should be. I suggest you to not bid on this auction. I holp I have helped you. Otavio Santos
