Default Political Postings

There seems to be the continuing on-slaught of political posts, even though the election has been long decided which got most of these threads started in the first place. Putting into consideration that this is a toy airplane forum for individuals that have nothing better to do, it has been decided that it's time that politics comes to an end. There are some users that find the need that this forum is all about politics, and forget that this is truely a model airplane forum. With that said, current political threads will continue to be allowed, however from this point further take your political discussions elsewhere, as they are no longer welcome here. Any further political threads will be subject to deleation and/or heavy moderation.

Talking Jim McDonald is going to love you!!!

Will it be ok to discuss future politics if Hillary Clinton is running for the President and happen to be on a "Gray Power" Magazine for us to Hoot-N-Round! ???

You could solve your problem by banning Jim McDonald from this forum.

This doesn't make sense & it is wrong.

Why just eliminate political threads from the Off-topic sections?

Why not ban the other sensitive no-no topics...sex & religion too?

In fact, why not ban any topic to which someone might find offense? You might as well get rid of the off-opic section entirely!!!

I didn't always agree with many of the opinions expressed in this section, but I'll defend their right to say them. If anyone finds a section/topic offensive, then they need not enter.

Those who called 27Victor a jackboot had it wrong!

They should just ban you for stupidity DavidBiotch. But suffice to say that Johnny B wants to join the merry band of looney tunes you represent and thinks that censorship is okay as long as it is only a choice few on the forum. I mean, why have a dialogue when it doesn't fit your tiny perspective of the world? Why tolerate me when I don't agree with your warped distorted view of reality?

The truth is, I find idiots like you and Johnny B amusing in that you take yourselves so serious and think that censoring my stuff is okay, but posting drivel like yours makes sense.

Dismissed, you're nothing more than another meaningless wannabe on what's turning out to be a meaningless forum.

Gee this makes a lot of sense: " it has been decided that it's time that politics comes to an end." Then you go on to say: "With that said, current political threads will continue to be allowed" But no, it gets better, then you go on to say:"however from this point further take your political discussions elsewhere".

Okay is it just me, or does this make ANY sense to ANYONE? Good lord Johnny, delete or not delete. But at least MAKE SENSE!

Carry on looney tune!

From Jimmy Mac's responses...your title to your post could not not have been more spot on. BTW...there is this new book out that posits the theory of a Hillary vs. Condi in the next election because, as the author's speculative argument goes, the republican party will be forced to come up with a female candidate to counter a female democratic opponent.

Believe it or not, it could come down to a Condi vs. Hillary, but there is so much that has to be acheived to get to that point...announced to candidacny and then gaining the ticket for either party. Way too early to tell yet.

In such a scenario, Hillary could have the disadvantage in terms of war on terror as carried over from her husband's adminstration, a distinct advantage that COndi would have with her direct involvment as NSA and now as SEC of State. But with all the problems currently facing the current administration, the republican party will be severely hurt in the next election. It will be very interesting to watch.

Great to hear from you Jim! It's always a pleasure. Get the facts straight though Bob has been on the team since July and he's the guy in charge here. I ain't got the time nor the will to deal with the crap that occurs on this forum. It's great though that ya'll are welcoming the new moderator with such open arms. If you don't like this him or this forum, then your more the welcome to go away, because guess what... YOU WON'T BE MISSED!!!

Jimbo's like herpes, he never really goes away, for long. Unfortunatly, Valtrex doesn't work on him either.

Two points Jim I wish to make:

1. Foolish of you to challenge the adminsitrative staff here in the manner that you have done.

2. If DAC is irrelevant as you claim, why do you bother posting here and why do you not post in another forum that that is purportedly more relevant and have members more of your mindset? Doesn't that make sense?

To number one I would only say that isn't it Liberal loonies like you who think it is okay to challenge the status quo?

To number two, DAC becomes irrelevant when it no longer becomes informative and starts using selective censoring of it's members. Why do I post here, because I find it amusing to watch tollerant Liberals go beserk when they see their views chalenged by the facts, then resort to name calling and censorship rather than face the lunacy of their postions.

Any other stupid questions? Dismissed.
