I decided to appropriately permutate the beginning of Aerosmith's Love in an Elevator to describe Bush's recent nose dive in the popularity polls...now around 39%. What I find ironic that just 12 months ago this president was elected by the largest most popular vote. How can this be? Now these same people who had a chance to effect change are suddenly not happy with their prez? Things that make you go hmmmmm?

Funny thing about Opinion Polls, they don't mean a thing. The other thing about them is that they can be manipulated to obtain a specific desired result.

I am amused by the opinion poll news lately. Opinion polls are just that, OPINIONS. They don't affect the outcome of THIS Presidents agenda and they certainly are meaningless in the fact that Bush can't be re-elected.

I would say that these polls have been affected by the shameless and never ending attacks by the Media on Bush. Every day we hear how Bush didn't handle Katrina correctly, Bush has blown the war in Iraq, the sky is falling even as unexpected tax revenues flood State and Federal coffers and the economy is chugging along at a very healthy clip.

I guess if one watches the news these days, they would tend to get a poor, yet distorted perspective about how things are under Bush. Suffice it to say, people are like lemmings. They tend to repeat the same inane nonsense they hear the goobers on the mainstream news spout, without engaging their brains or their curiosity.

The bottom line is this, he will serve his whole term, the indictments against Tom Delay will never be prosecuted and all this BS about CIA agents being outted will be just that, BS.
