Default NHL's Back

Well the NHL is back. I've watched 2 games so far and I'm not impressed with the new rules. So many penalties it takes away from the flow of the game. Alot less body contact. Does anybody else feel the same way or have just watched to crappy games. So how do you feel about the new rule changes.

Yah it's a lot of penalties but hopefully players adjust. Just have to bite the bullet at first and work through it. Otherwise the refs just back off after a couple of months and all the obstruction starts all over again.

I like the shoot out, the new 2 line pass thing, and the icing thing for golies. I think it will make the game better. I am not too sure of the other rules adding penalties durring the game (because I dont know that much of the other rules). But I think that in the season opener, the Penguins went like 0/11 on powerplays

I like them, they should oplay to the Thrashers strenths. First home game tonight, I'll be there of course. Hopefully I'll get interviewed by the local broadcasters so i can subletly rip them a new one for their brazen attitude towards the lockout and the NHL in general.
