Default As long as we are still talking about Bush..

Bush requested another 51.8 billion dollars for Katrina, added to what has already been requested that comes to around 62 billion dollars (chump change not). Question, where does this money come from? I doubt if the economy will surge what with the hurricane and the price of gas, Jimbos standard answer to all the "how do we pay for this" questions. Perhaps a TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT may be in the works? Have you heard this one Jimbo? How many Republicans do you need to change a light bulb? Ans: none, they will leave it for their children to take care of. I read that Bush was concerned that Trent Lotts house was lost in the hurricane and that he looks forward to sitting on the new porch once its rebuilt, maybe he can ponder this question as he watchs the rest city float out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Now I'm just curious, if Bush would not have asked for any money for New Orleans, wouldn't you be complaining that he wasn't doing anything?

Can't have it both ways......

I know, it is Bush's fault that the hurricane hit, he spoke with God and said we needed a disaster....

I never implied anything.... as a matter of fact he was absolutely correct in requesting the money...settle down, no one is complaining , the question was "how does he pay for it?". My kids are curious.

I've heard that the Treasury Department is going to issue special bonds which will be paid off by a 10-year levy on residents of New York and Massachussetts.

Your kids could care less. Another case of LIRS (Liberal Indistinguishable Reality Syndrome).

I guess this will be the NEXT Democratic issue in the Katrina case. We need to raise taxes or cancel the tax rate decreases already approved. Democrats cannot be happy that people get MORE of their money so they spend every waking hour thinking up ways they can get MORE of our money.

The pumps are working incredibly well, and the city will be drained MUCH earlier than the media's RUMORS, the death toll is much lower than the media's RUMORS, the work has begun in the cleanup and as usual, people will be getting the city up and operating earlier than all the absurd, dire predictions by the media.

Once again we have a Left Wing in this country running around like Chicken Little screaming "the sky is falling", "the sky is falling." Once again we see these hypocrites for what they truly are. Political hacks and Bush haters wanting to make EVERYTHING a divisive issue. I hope the words of the morons in the House and Senate who made absurd claims on the floor about the rescue efforts come back to haunt them come re-election time.

Carry on!

Kind of like "mission accomplished" ehh Jimbo

Perhaps we can lower the deficit a little by eliminating the program to put a man on Mars, you're already there!

I was not only directing this to you but some who use large type faces! Nagging woman. I thought that you would not be that short sighted of me. As I think both sides here are nagging. Which I really have to laugh. For me seeing both sides going at it are great fun. Just happened you posted at the end of them. I didn't see the time others posted. As I said "all of these" post. Not psalover's post! Read man read. Reading both sides sound like woman nagging.

Yeah your probably right, those 4th grade German school girls that you pick up probably have about a 50/50 chance of having some hair on it by then.

No, Iīll leave them all for you. You seem to have some weird fantasies about them, or why else would you bring them up?

Theyīre too young; Iīm not a pederast. I prefer a 29-year-old French girl as of now. Thank you.

Jim and Todd may not be concerned but Senate Republicans clearly are. I guess they have become liberal democrats overnight.

I got a view into a secret paper and am sharing its content with you guys.

In short: GWB is declaring the nature and especially the Atlantic Ocean to a member of the axis of evil and all hurricanes to terrorists. Countries supporting hurricanes by letting them pass over their territory are regarded as enemies and might be invaded. The chief-hurricane will be arrested in the same short time as Osama Ben Laden (excuse me Mr president - Osama is still not yet imprisoned!). Really? Ok then let us arrest the Mistral (a wind in southern france for those not knowing this) instead as we did with ol' Sadam. GWB will increase the security checks at all ports and airports close to the gulf of mexico so no terroristic hurricanes will get a chance to invade. And finally he is thinking about using nuclear weapons. GWB is convinced that this will stop the "windy" terrorists - and of course he needs some more billions of dollars for noboby knows what. And if all this will not help - GWB will be praying for the victims.......

Jackboot,

If stupidity were an arrestable offence, you'd have been placed in a padded room in a "hug me" jacket loooooooong ago. End yourself soon.
