FEMA's Brown went home, he told the The Associate Press, "I'm going home and walk my wife and hug my dog, and maybe get a good Mexican meal (did he mean mexican male?) and a stiff margarita.
Going back to Brown' statement. FYI: First of all his last name "Brown", that guy has nothing to do with us latinos/mexicans/hispanics, why in the name of God he gets that name? Every time time the word Brown gets mentioned, people is going to associate it with the other Browns. Brown & Proud is not more to be. Now, after he fails in his govermental post, this "Brown" guy goes to eat a Mexican meal and get a stiffy margarita. Does that means that eating hispanic meals/food/ingredients would be a sign of failing? "Honey, I really screwed things up at the office, get me a spicy tamal please!!" The space probe lost communication with NASA Center few hours ago. A rice&beans protocol was quickly followed. Now, that Margarita....is that his undocumented central American maid? Why stiff? Perhaps, she doesn't want to be associated with this "Brown" either!! I knew this girl called Margarita in school that every time I tried to hold her hand would get tense, never stiff, but tense. I protest, we do not need any help for bad reputation from anybody. Very Best Regards!! P/S: I hope that this send Brown home thing doesn't get out hand. Another thing, next time you try to hug you woman she'll have every right to ask, "...WTF did you do now!!!??"

Well it's official, Yuri has joined the Looney tune briggade.
It was inevitible I guess. Sooner or later, it was obvious that he would be lured over by the dark, and ignorant side. We'll miss you Yuri. There's still hope. Always remember, the first stage to recovery is admitting you have a logic problem. Carry on! ![]() |

we still friends right?
My satire goes as far as the wording permits. It's not political. In my opinion, Brown didn't fail. FEMA should not be a one man show operation. To get brief to the director' seat would/should take years for a person to be ready. Only Hollywood have gone far enough to imagine the worse scenario. A group of people with the right credentials for every situation should be there. Brown didn't fail, the system did. P/S: Sending Brown home may not be the answer. We are not prepared in all levels. Our Culture is not prepared for a shifting world and the response to that. I could have been worse, and THAT is pretty scary.

Michael Brown, the embattled head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, approved payments in excess of $31 million in taxpayer money to thousands of Florida residents who were unaffected by Hurricane Frances and three other hurricanes last year in an effort to help President Bush win a majority of votes in that state during his reelection campaign, according to published reports. Some Homeland Security sources said FEMA's efforts to distribute funds quickly after Frances and three other hurricanes that hit the key political battleground state of Florida in a six-week period last fall were undertaken with a keen awareness of the looming presidential elections, according to a May 19 Washington Post story.
Homeland Security sources told the Post that after the hurricanes that Brown and his allies [recommended] him to succeed Tom Ridge as Homeland Security secretary because of their claim that he helped deliver Florida to President Bush by efficiently responding to the Florida hurricanes. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel uncovered emails from Florida Gov. Jeb Bush that confirmed those allegations and directly implicated Brown as playing politics at the expense of hurricane victims. Could you imagine this guy heading up Homeland Security? Is there no end to the inane, absurd claims looney's like you make?
First off there is NO such story in the Washington Post on May 19th, 2005. Secondly, if the story was written in 2004, then it occurred BEFORE Tropical Storm Francis hit in September 2004. Last, but never least, to believe such nonsense that this was a PLOT by Bush cronies to deliver Florida to Bush borders on mental retardation, which in your case, could be true. This is another SERIOUS case of LIRS or Liberal Inescapable Reality Syndrome (pronounced liars). Oh, Steve, the election is over by the way and Bush will serve his entire term. Spare us more of your nonsense and save it for the next election okay? You lost, get over it. Dismissed. ![]() |

What further amazes me is that morons like you whine if they don't send billions of dollars immediately to the State, but then criticize it when it arrives too soon because it is an attempt to buy votes.
Oh Steve, Louisiana was ALSO a RED state. DUH! I supposed we abondoned them because Bush is racist. DUH Is there no logic on the left anymore? Nope....they all went over to the dark retarded side. I look forward to the next Inane nonsensical posting Steve. Dismissed! ![]() |
