Thumbs down Liberal Absurdity #5

In the wake of a major NATURAL disaster, the Liberal abusrdities abound.

Todays absurdity comes from the comments of Tim Russert in an interview with Mr. Morial, the head of the National Urban League and former mayor of New Orleans.

MR. RUSSERT: I want to raise a subject that was written by The Washington Post and I've seen you on television speaking about it. "The Racial Dimension: To Me, It Just seems Like Black People Are Marked"--was the headline of The Washington Post story.

MR. MORIAL: One has to ask themselves a question: Were this Washington, D.C., New York, an earthquake in Los Angeles, would the response have been so inadequate, been so lacking?

No Mr. Morial, everyone KNOWS that there are NO blacks in those cities so the response would have been much quicker.

Dismissed LOONEY tune!

BUSH TRIES TO SHIFT BLAME: Now that things have gone poorly, the White House wants to pretend it wasn't in charge. President Bush said the magnitude of the storm "has created tremendous problems that have strained state and local capabilities. The result is that many of our citizens simply are not getting the help they need, especially in New Orleans. And that is unacceptable." Dan Bartlett told the Washington Post, "The federal government stands ready to work with state and local officials to secure New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. The president will not let any form of bureaucracy get in the way of protecting the citizens of Louisiana." The message from Bush and Bartlett is that state officials were "slow to call for outside help." The reality is that Louisiana state officials reached out to the federal government for assistance before the storm hit. On Aug. 27, Gov. Blanco sent a detailed letter to President Bush requesting assistance because "this incident is of such severity and magnitude that effective response is beyond the capabilities of the State and affected local governments, and that supplementary Federal assistance is necessary to save lives, protect property, public health, and safety, or to lessen or avert the threat of a disaster."

Okay Spindoctor, here's your Civic's lesson 101 for the day.

Disasters and the preparation for them have several lines of defense:

The first line of defense is the City. Run by Democrats in the case of New Orleans.

The second line of defense is the Parish, which is like our counties. Run by Democrats in the case of New Orleans.

The third line of defense is the State. Run by Democrats in the case of New Orleans.

Last, comes in Fema after the fact. Which is the federal government. Run by Republicans.

So let's see, when all else fails blame the LAST line of defense? Yeah right Spindoctor. Keep the divisive rhetoric coming dude. You get more absurd with each posting.

Oh Spindoctor, don't think for a moment we don't know that you cut and paste this nonsense from looney Left Wing websites. I know you have never had an original thought in your life. It takes a HUGE Liberal hate organization to feed this nonsense to morons like you.

Are people like you really this uneducated, or do you work at being stupid? Dismissed!

So you're first three lines of defense, all the people that did not evacuate, lets move them to somewhere that is supposedly safe. Lets try a big building like the Superdome. If everyone is all together it should be much easier to provide aid once the storm is done. Gee, it's been almost 4 days since the storm hit and the levee's broke, darn where is that "Ark of Relief" that FEMA promised before the hurricane hit? They sure seem to taking their sweet time getting here. Not like 9/11, where the feds jumped right in. Well, since the death toll is going to be larger than 9/11, maybe at least Bush will mention us everytime he does a speech!

As usual, you just can't help but chime in your absurd nonsense any chance you have huh Canadork? Well, because you are an America hating, terrorist loving moron from Canada, I would not expect you to have much of a clue about things America, especially how we govern.

But hey thanks for you prediction. I'm sure the more deaths you hear about, the happier it will make you. I believe this in that you constantly want to minize the deaths of the people on 9-11.

Dismissed moron.

What does 11 September have to do with anything related to a natural disaster? Stop invoking it.

Yo, Moron, look at Your buddies posting. He's the one who invoked it dipwad. If you would get your brown nose out of HIS butt, you could probably get enough air to your brain to think.

Gawd, and you fancy yourself a thinker. ::shakes head::

Yes Richie. I need to see a shrink when I actually think there is an intelligent thought between you and your looney tune Liberal buddies.

Oh, and responding to your inane comments convinces me that I need help too.

I mean, your idiotic comments in every thread I post in is perfectly normal isn't it? You're kind of like that psycho Tomblo, he doesn't think it is weird to have my picture on his profile either.

Dismissed moron.

The Feds didn't wait to jump in with both feet during 9/11, when it was just 3 buildings that were damaged. In this instance, an entire city is wiped out and they drag their feet for a couple of days, and then Bush claims that FEMA's Director is "doing a hell of a job"! You see any problems with the reaction times?
Has that "Ark of Relief" even shown up yet?

I've already gotten my help; my Starbucks arrived 5 minutes ago. And my thoughts are original...or at least they're not re-pumped Fox News stories.

What do you think FEMA stands for? What do you think was their sole job? Did they do this job well or did they do a sub-par effort?

The City and Parishes and their infastructure were completely destroyed as was most of the state, considering their National Guard has been sent to IRAQ, I think we could consider this line of defense out of service.

I quess I was mistaken about FEMA though, Micheal Brown reached deep into his background as Commisioner of the Arabian Horse Association and as far I know, there hasn't been one, not a single Arabian Horse lost in this disaster. Hats off to Bush for making such an excellent choice!

Yeah right Steve. The scenes of all the National Guard now in the streets are just actors from Hollywood dressed up as guardsmen. After all, like you say, they are ALL in Iraq.

Moronic statement to say the least.

Well you know Steve, as we have learned by now, you are an expert on everything from conducting wars, to disaster relief. Now I guess you are some kind of expert on hiring executives to run government organizations like FEMA?

The moronic diatribe is endless coming from "experts" like you Steve. You continue to fascinate me about how you're an expert in everything with your profound kowledge of NOTHING. Too bad they didn't hire you.

Dismissed looney tune.

Default I'm wrong again

I quess being a Bush political hack qualifies you to run anything, as we have seen with the war in IRAQ.

BTW where in your last reponse did you come anywhere close to defending Bush's choice to head up FEMA? I read through all your rant and personal digs and could find one coherent thought on the subject?

Carry on with the BS and spin.

another BTW (there are so many these days) the White said we shouldn't be finger pointing now, and then Karl Rove comes out pointing the fingure at everyone left of center. I,ve got a finger for him.

The best comment was when Cheney finally dragged his as.s down there to be interviewed on scene and get his photo op, and some guy walked by the interview and said "F.uck you Mr. Cheney". You just gotta love it when the American people speak out!

I am not surprised a mental midget like yourself thinks its funny to show outright crudeness and disrespect to our leaders. But then, you are a terrorist loving, America hating Canadork. Hard to be surprised at the level of your stupidity and absurdity any more.
