Default Let the gouging begin!

Our gas in Indy went to well over $3.20 today.
I talked to relatives in Nevada and California and they said that their gas is not that high. Their gas is usually about .30 to .50 cents higher than ours.
The storm was just yesterday, meaning that the gas at the stations would not have been affected by the storm yet.

Like I said, let the gouging begin!

Thumbs down Here in Tennessee

Two days ago $2.63. Today before went off lunch with my beauty wife it was $2.89 then came back home after lunch, another shot up to $2.99!!!

Too focking up too much!

You, the peeple or pissants, Hoo vited Bush are asking for it!

I do not buy such "supply & demand" crap on gasoline. It is shortage of supply due to downsize refinery.

Imagine if (BIG if's) Bush fail Iraq's success which was suppose to be achived by August 15 but delaying..... Instability.... Oct 15 will tell.....should happen to fail. Will we be seeing a whopping $5 per juice? DUH

Carry on, Ruptublicans!

Since Bush attacked Iraq for oil, the prices went up.

Sounds like logic to who?

According to my mom, the gas here was like $2.89. Btw. I was talking about it with my physics teacher, and he brought up the fact that the refinaries that are in the area got hit, thus I think this is what caused part of the increase, the other part was the media causing fear inside of people.

You really need to wake up Dave. Why would Bush take charge? Who is making billions and billions of dollars of the gas increases? Who is best friends with the people making billions of dollars? Which government still gives these multi-billion dollar oil companies grants and subsidies for research? The answer isn't much of a surprise!

Up north, gasoline is still $1.17/litre (which is US$3.22/g).

I wouldn't say they have stayed the same thru Iraq. They have certainly shot up here in the last 3 -4 days. .975 Cents/litre then went to $1.13/litre next day up to $1.27/litre and even upto $1.35/litre.

How in the space of 3 days can you put gas up 35% to 40%. The gas at the station wasn't new refined or even the gas trucked in would have been bought at lower prices. Just another big corporation tax grab and government tax grab. I'll be doing alot more walking.

No, they haven't stayed the same since the war in Iraq. My comment was only refering to the price since last Monday when oil started rising due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina.

When the Iraq war started, the price here was about 80 cents/litre (US$1.20/g).

You know if we actually ran out gas and couldn,t get any then any rise would be understandable to a certain extent, the price goes up and here on Long Island no one has run out of gas, there is no shortage. BTW who advised Cheney when he developed his energy policy? I don,t know. Do you know because I don't.
