Thumbs down Liberal Absurdity #2

"Cindy Sheehan is a mother who has paid the price and deserves to have her voice heard."

NO, she is the mother of a devoted soldier who paid the ultimate price and who believed so much in what he was doing that he volunteered for the duty.

Cindy's web site has a letter that clearly exposes her for the liberal anti-war wackjob that she is:
http://www.angelfire.com/sk3/spkhntrca/Casey.html

By the way, when you go to http://www.meetwithcindy.org/ , there is a donation link. It takes you right to moveon.orgs web page.

Yep, this is just another war mom just trying to get her message to George Bush. The lies and rhetoric continue folks.

Dismisses Cindy!

It's disgusting that a mother is using the death of her son to collect donations.

I have no opinion on Ms. Sheehan, positive or negative. (Believe it or not, not all Americans pay much attentiont to the circus down at Bush's ranch, with or without the protesters.) But I feel like I need to point out that even though the death of a child is probably the most traumatic thing that can happen to a human being, it is *frequently* followed in this country by the parents' request that donations be made in the child's name to a favored cause. This is not unusual, at least where I come from. Is this really any different than the parents of a child who died of cancer asking for donations to a special fund for cancer research, or the parents of a child who was struck by a car raising money to campaign for the installation of a traffic signal and crosswalk? In my country, there is a very strong tradition of parents undertaking monumental public awareness campaigns as a way of honoring their departed child, and as a way of healing. Is this tradition truly "disgusting"? Or are you offended by something else?

Cool Duh

When those donations are tied to an ULTRA left wing web site devoted to slandering the President called Moveon.org, I see a HUGE difference. It would be absurd to think that you could compare THIS to what is typical which would be a charity. DUH

Carry on!

I was indeed refering to the fact N2272V was pointing out in post #4.

In case it was to remember her son than I wouldn't say a bad word about it, but raising money for a political cause over your own sons death?

Let's not forget that this political cause is also an offensive ultra liberal web site called Moveon.org.

I would also like to suggest that ANYONE wanting to get into a debate on Cindy's legitimacy should first READ her letter to George Bush on HER website which I have posted to tell me whether or not it would serve ANY purpose for GW to meet with her. It's OBVIOUSLY not greiving that bothers Cindy, it is an attempt to USE her son's death as a front to a POLITICAL movement now sponsered by Moveon.org and carried out by the same looney's that protested ALL the prior wars.

The moronic thing about all this protesting is that these people think that you can actually have a dialogue with despots and terroists. They actually think that America is to blame for 9-11 and how the people in the middle east think of us. They actually think that our going into Iraq is what changed Europeans perception about America.

This is all fantasy. For people who would like to learn MORE about why things are the way they are today, I suggest picking up a GREAT book called "An End to Evil" by David Frum and Richard Perle.

I would also point out how the Palestinians reacted to the forceful evacuation of the Gaza Strip. After all the Israeli's have done, the rhetoric now is "Today the Gaza Strip, tomorrow Jerusalem." In addition, Abbas stated to his people that the efforts of organizations like Hamas armed struggle is the reason the Isreali's pulled out. These are NOT words of peace people. Get a clue!

They obviously don't think that they can have a dialogue, since GW won't talk to them. So why is the American perception in the Middle East of a war-mongering money grubbing country. What possible reason could they have to think those things. How do you suggest that those perceptions get changed? Round up all the people who oppose you and stick in Gitmo for a little re-education about how great America is.

I wonder who did all the looting of stores in Louisiana after Katrina passed through. It couldn't have been Americans since they are above that kind of act.

Your moronic babbling is endless. It's wonderful to see such absuridty coming from YOUR side of the aisle. All the more reason for people like you to be on the fringe and not in the mainstream.

It's idiots like you who feed the moronic claims that the USA is the bad guy. Did we occupy Kuwait? NO, we liberated it. Who was the most generous and first on the scene to help the Muslims of Indonesia, the USA. Who rebuilt Europe and Japan after WWII? Yes, that's right, the good ole USA. There are countless episodes where the USA has been the liberator and rebuilder of nations. You conveniently forget all this in your nonsensical and absurd attacks on America. You are one pathetic, wittless little moron. I am sure your countrymen are proud to have you as their representative mouthpiece.

Thank God that worthless pieces of excrement like yourself are in the minority.

Dismissed.

Hey hey, that's pretty darn funny!

So what you are trying to illustrate here is that having a profile of terrorists being Muslim male extremists between the ages of 17 and 40 is absurd right?

I guess you find it absurd due to the fact that a significant portion of terroristic murders have been conducted by this very profile and it should not be used it as a statistical basis. Have I got a bridge in Arizona for you!

Why did Japan need rebuilding after WW2? Oh ya, the US dropped Nukes on it.
Your US centric view of WW2's European theater is just as mindboggling. Were they the only country helping in the rebuilding?

Keep up the compliments Jimbo, it's show the true heart of a neocon!

Your incredibly absurd comments illustrate the outrageous positions you take. Here's a web site on the Marshall plan so that you can educate that tiny brain of yours:
http://education.yahoo.com/reference...ntry/MarshalPl
http://veterans.house.gov/news/104/vjday.htm

Your Canadorkish view of WWII is not mindboggling, it is absurd. I am sure in your disturbed view, Japan would have been better off under Soviet influence.

As for the A-bomb? Im sure you want to ignore the fact that Japan started a World War in the Pacific. You also conveniently would ignore the fact that unless the bomb was dropped, there would have been hundreds of thousands of US and allied casualties. But then, thats what you would have wanted I am sure.

Dismissed looney tune!

I guess you feel that 1,000,000 dollars is roughly equal to 1,000,000 lives lost. So even though millions of people died, as long as the US ponies up some money then they should be hailed as heroes. Why don't you ask the citizens of Holland who they think the heroes of WW2 are?

Agreeing with Jimbo, always the sign of a smart free thinking person. Or was it a sign of the coming apocalypse, it's so hard to tell these days! BTW, you got that 5 billion in softwood tariffs you owe me?

Both you and Doc Beefjerk are aware, of course, that the sentence I posted was actually a quote from Todd Johnson.

What both of you posted applies to his (somewhat derailed) train of thought, not mine. But I do find it funny that both of you whiz kids fail to see the obvious, id est that this kind of post could not both come from me and be meant serious at the same time.

And, Jimbo, honestly, I don´t want your bridge in Arizona. I do feel a hint of sorrow that you seem to have bought it from somebody, but I´m not the sucker who´ll refund you your money by buying it. Sorry.

Yo Boohoo Happy-Floyd,

We don't take any of your posts serious at any time.

Oh and BTW:
You want to say it was not true I posted? I lived in Europe and a short time in Germany, so I know it's true. I hope you know what know means. It's like "you don't know", only then you know. Know what I mean? No?
