Talking Announcement

For those who care, or give a rat's ass, it has been suggested to me that I tone down my insults and comments as it relates to the political debates on this forum. Although I really do enjoy being so caustic, and in some cases I have been told it is entertaining, I have promised to stop being so caustic in my remarks. I will attempt to ignore the insults that will be directed towards me and be more "positive".

This will not be easy as I do enjoy it perhaps TOO much. But I am going to take the advice of people who are better than I and stop the insults.

This will force me into withdrawals at times and I may slip based on the totally absurd and iditotic political comments I see in this place, but I am going to do my best and admit myself into a class on how to win your arguments and friends at the same time.

So I ask for your patience, understanding and tolerance to help me through this very difficult time ahead. I welcome your positive feedback and comments as well.

That is all.

Jim, as one of your main targets, I can't throw any stones. Politics always has been a heated topic anywhere, anytime, My closest friend at work makes you look like a liberal, (an ex P-3 jockey) but we talk airplanes and the job and nothing else. Sometimes we forget this is model airplane forum, but no matter how much mud is slung here, I would always look forward to a serious freindly discusion with anyone about these models anytime, perhaps we should not forget that.

We have had our share of mudslinging at each other and I have ENJOYED it. Perhaps too much. So from now on, suffice it to say I am not calling you a Looney Liberal any longer or any other names. I will stick to the topic of debate, or models of debate. You're an American, distorted and confused as you may be, and you don't deserve petty name calling.

So with that, accept my apology for getting TOO carried away. This is NOT to say that I wont pounce on you in a debate, but I am going to attempt a more civil tone. How's that? Like I said, the caustic remarks only serve to trivialize my point of view, and that concerns me more than the fun I have had calling people "looney tunes".

Jimbo I neither care about you, nor do I give a rats *** about you. But watching you trying to spin Bush's megalomania into something not totally evil is a riot.

I did think that this portrait of you was your best.
