Arrow True Story

American Indians of Arizona Honor Bush With Ceremonial Name:

President Bush was invited to address a major gathering of the American
Indian Nation in Arizona. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans
for increasing every Native American's present standard of living. He
referred to his career as Governor of Texas, how he had signed "YES" 1,237
times - for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval.
Although the President was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed
most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his "red brothers."
At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the President with a
plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - Walking Eagle.
The proud President then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.
A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to
select the new name given to the President.
They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of
szhit that it can no longer fly

Isn't it fun to attack the person rather than his message or debate the issues/facts?

Carry on!

You state the OBVIOUS, what is your point? Yes we have a national deficit. Yes we will need to deal with it in a serious way that will not harm the economic growth and employment levels we are seeing now.

So?

Unlike Canada, the USA as a global leader has to maintain a large Military and military prescence in many parts of the world.

Canada has a tiny military, a population of 32,078,819 (we have more people living in California - 35,484,453 ) and a huge economic behemouth just South of your border separated by little more than a line of Longitude.

I can see how easy it would be to lecture others on how to balance their budget. It has been only recently and as a result of conservative deficit reduction measures implemented by the previous Canadian government that you are able to even project a surplus for 2004-2005 and this is a "projection". Up until then Canada was suffering from high unemployment and huge deficits. I predict that the lessons learned will remain UN-learned and you will end up back in the defecit category.

If America maintained an irrelevant military, pulled all our armed forces out of Europe, the Middle East and Asia and quit providing billions in aid to our friends and allies, our budget would be balanced easily.

Suffice it to say that the world and the U.S. budget is more complex than the simplistic little world you live in.

I can see how can you presume to lecture American's on the state of our affairs when you live in a country the size of all of Europe and have a population of 32 million.

Carry on!

Have you ever thought that it is because of the US antaganostic foreign policy, that you need that large military that you brag about so much.

Just remember, if Canada ever needs some quick cash, we can always jack up the energy prices that people like you in California will have to pay. Although that could be considered gouging if we do it, but if an American company like Enron does it, it's just good capitalism.

Yeah that's right. It's the agressive, antagonistic, imperialistic American foreign policy.

Dismissed looney tune! Come back when you have a CLUE. How old are you by the way? 12?

Ya that's right Jimbo! The policy of dictating who has nuclear weapons just because you already have them. Pakistan was labeled a terrorist nation for trying to obtain nukes, then when they were one of the retard countries that was willing to join GW's coalition, they were suddenly friends to the Americans and they also picked up a sh*tload of greenbacks just for signing on to GW's dirty little war.

Whatever happend to the policy of MAD?
