Default Chip Air Chip

I placed a total of 6 orders with them between 28th June 2009 and 14th July 2009 and received everything with the exception of one order of 1st July 2009 which was a pre-order for the IF200 AI 747-300. To date this model has not been delivered and all my emails to CAC have gone unanswered. I just contacted my CC company as CAC wanted advance payment which is showing as 'prosessed' and they said they will open up a 'dispute' and get the vouchers and let me know accordingly.

Is there anyone else here who have yet to receive an order from them which they placed a while back?

I have noticed that the website for chip air chip hasn't been updated for the last couple of months, I have tried to contact them also about pre-orders and all emails have been ignored. Not sure what is going on, but I am not happy with them as I paid for a years membership, so it seems I am not the only one that is having problems with them.

Yes I got membership too, but I wonder if I could claim that back through my CC company? I only took advantage of the membership discount for less than a month after joining.

Moin,

Oh no... I ordered a GJ200 BA A320 from them over 2 weeks ago and it's still not here. Order shows as "Processed" but not shipped. No replies to my email either. Thang (Jetspro) runs CAC and still seems to be selling stuff here under Jetspro. He claims he was in an accident recently and needs to sell models to cover medical expenses... it all seems a bit fishy to me.

Well I asked Thang about CAC and he said he has no idea what's going on with them. I did order a model from Thang about 10 days ago and received it yesterday so there's no problem there but as far as CAC is concerned I'm in the dark.

I normally use CAC but I noticed a couple of months ago that they stopped adding pre-order gemini's to their site, and when I have emailed them asking if they will be stocking any new gemini's I have got no response. The pre-orders don't seem to have been updated for the last couple of months apart from the models that have gone out of stock on pre-order now say out of stock. I have now started using Aviation Retail Direct and have had a good experience especially if you are a member of the site they offer 15% discount on pre-order gemini and 25% discount on pre-order inflight 200.

What, why wouldn't he know? I thought Jetspro = CAC? When I paid through Paypal it showed Thang as the owner of CAC.

Moin,

i havent used my mebership much either but its only £10 for membership and buy opne if200 and you instantly get that + back , so nothing to complain about there, if youve not used it very much thats your fault, maybe just dont renew it, i only bought mine because i was buying afew future if200 and realised it would get my £10 back in no time

The membership fee was only something I was looking into and not as much a cause for concern as missing order of mine and non-response to my (and others) emails.

Well I filed a claim with Paypal today and was able to get the money refunded... all is good now. That's the last time I'll buy from CAC.

Are you saying that you filed a complaint today and PayPal already refunded your money without any investigation on their part? Sucks to be a seller.

No, Paypal acted very quickly and must have contacted CAC because the refund came directly from CAC. I even received an email from CAC about the refund... unfortunately that was the only way I could get a response from them.

That's what I requested when I called them up. They said they would get in touch with me once they've looked into the matter but its been a week now and I haven't heard from them. They took my number and email address as well.
