Thumbs down Bad experience with CX777-300!!

I just want to let you guy's know that i had a very bad experience with Ebayer CX777-300!!
I buyed (won) from him two models (insured) that never made it to The Netherlands. After a month or so i started mailing with him how to proceed. He told me that HK post needed an answer from the Netherlands post that the package is lost if not he couldn't give me my money back. I also called with the post handeling here at Schiphol and they told me that the tracking number didn't exist.......
In good trust i waited and waited!
After 3 months you can't give feedback any more on Ebay and exactly after those 3 months he didn't reply on my mails any more so i can consider those models LOST!
Why are the models insured if you don't get your money when they are lost??
I'm very disappointed and this is also not good for my trust in Ebayers! Is it really necessary to go to Paypal after a month??????

You just may have had some bad experiences, Bill, but for the most part, sellers in Hong Kong are just as reliable as anyone else. Postal service may be difficult, but the sellers want you to come back. I've done business several times, and aside from some slow deliveries (and that happens from Europe, too), I've never had a bad experience. Sorry that Kras got hit with one of the bad ones, but that happens, and we move on, poorer but wiser.

Hey Erik,

Even after 3 months is it possible to complain at PAYPAL or e-bay?

KRASAIR,

Our fellow collector Lollo had problems with the same guy too. Have you read this:

http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...em-seller.html

At least Lollo got his models after 4 months. Hope you will get yours eventually, good luck!

Hey Otavio,

No after 3 months you're way to late! You only have 3 months to give feedback at Ebay!

I have and can report 100% satisfaction. Wonderfully packed and that saved the models from rough handling by the post office from there to here :-)

You know, I was just looking through some old email when I found a PayPal payment confirmation. The recipient was cx777300@gmail.com, so I'm assuming it's the same seller. I had a positive experience with him. I bought a Dragon American Airlines A300 from him for about $15.00, and it arrived about a week and a half later with as much protective packaging as you could put on it.

No, I have not dealt with virginfans in the past but I doubt CX777-300 is virginfans.

Virginfans is: Airbus Shop in Hong Kong, as you all might see: completed set of Blue Box samples on his ebay listing, cause he is partner of Blue Box.
and all AC models is available @ the shop too.

Given him over 3 months, what the hell were you thinking? Even if it was shipped by boat it wouldn't have taken 3 months. After three months it would be harder to dispute the charge. After 30 days I would have been questioning this transaction already! Let us know what happens.
