Talking airport help



I am a new herpa wings collector and would like to build a model airport (if i could I would build JFK int) What tools would i need also how can i build the airport , what is the best jetways, what is the best store to buy the tools and jetways etc. And does any body know of a person who makes airplane hanger THANKS

Patrick-
Most people here use Evergreen Plastic for buildings and hangers.

you cut the sheets of plastic into the size you want and use model glue to glue them together.

As for the ground or Tarmac as we call it in the hobby-
This varries, some people buy the base sets from eztoyz.com, others just get plywood and paint them.

Eztoyz are definitely good! Some people just complain the shiny effect it has but generally I think they're extremely good.

Feel free to check out the threads titled with Aero Displays on the heading in this forum. I build 3 dimensional airport layout bases. You can put your own buildings on it or the Herpa ones.
