Hi Everyone,
I'm really into detail on my airports and was wondering if it's possible to make the canopy on the jetway The canopy is the grey thing that's coming out of the jetway. Thanks for your help!!! -snaramper |

The scaling of the material might be too large, but there is something out there that might work.....passenger car diaphragms from model railroading...its a flexible accordian type material very similar to what is used on jetway canopies, except this stuff goes between the end doors on railroad passenger cars. I know they make it in HO scale, which would be huge for 1:400, but they might also make it in N scale, which would be smaller and might work for you. If you don't have a well-stocked model railroad shop in your area, then I'd look at a Walthers catalog to see if it exists.

I drive air bridges, if its a nice day, the canopy stays retracted, and the pax get a tan. Ergo, no need for a 1/400 canopy.
