Default Painting Styrene

Hello

I am working on my airport model and was wondering how you paint the styrene sheets.

I am planning on making the airport out of styrene, and was wondering if I need an airbrush, etc.

Thanks

airbrush or spray paint will be best. unless you want streaks in your painting.

Do yourself a HUGE favor: go out and buy yourself a good duel action airbrush and a good air compressor. You can paint everything with one. Paint application is much smoother, no runs, tight spots, and one tiny bottle of paint covers about the same as 2 full spray cans. Get the gun and compressor kid, you wont be disappointed!

i should add that my setup is a cheap setup and has worked for 100% of my applications. i got these for cheap but youll be looking at spending around these prices if you want a decent "starter" setup.

i have a iwata revolution HP-CR airbrush (yes dual action). got this with the iwata nylon briaded hose and a iwata pistol grip filter for $75 shipped. the pistol grip filter is rather unnecessary since my compressor has a water trap already but it came with the package so why not.

and a Harbor Freight 1/8 hp oilless compressor for $55. shipped. got this used off of ebay, didnt come with hose, teflon tape, or the adapter threading...had to go find those myself at my local hardware store for about $10 extra.
