Default GJ airport mat question

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me here.

I have read on the website that the mat is in 6 sections. My question is...are the panels divided in such a way so that, if you don't have the space for the whole 47 sq. ft. thing, you can at least get the whole ramp area surrounding the space reserved for the terminal buildings, so it's complete? i.e. the ramp area surrounding the space for the terminal is all complete by putting only 2 of the panels together?

I would of course save the remaining panels for future (hopeful) use, but...I'm sure I'm not the only one trying to size this to see if it can fit in a room in a 3BR apt.!!!

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Default Re: GJ airport mat question

Unfortunately the mat isn't arranged to allow this to happen. The terminal sits across all six sheets of the mat. I think this is a 'bad' move on GJ's part, because the mat is absolutely massive and not everyone would have the space to put this up (a friend of mine as one example).

GJ should've released it in possibly 12 sections to allow for the ramp area only. Unless you're willing to do it yourself!

Thanks for the reply. That IS bad news, and I agree, GJ should have thought of this when making it. Damn. I guess the only thing one could do would be to cut them yourself. Oy.

Thanks again.
