Default Building a Diorama: Day 6

Decided to add some grass, in real life it was mostly crab grass and weeds but this will have to do. Scribed all the lines into the ramp.......

Wow! Always impressed by your work Steve!
What kinds of paint do you use for your tarmac? Grey and dark grey paints.
Do you use enamels? Spray paints? And about the square lines?

Btw, when you have some time, more dioramas for 1/200 as well!
Can't wait to see the final work of this!

Grass I bought at a train hobby store (no name), cheap stuff flakes falling off all over the place, real mess. The dark grey is Krylon primer, the light grey and white is Rustolium primer and the black was just cheap brand flat black all bought at Home Depot. The lines were scribed using an Xacto knife and a steel ruler, spaced 1 inch X 1/2 in on white tarmac, spaced 1 in x 1 in on grey tarmac.

Holding off on 1/200 until some more GSE is available.

Steve would you be putting all of these posts into one once the diorama has been completed. That would be very helpful
