Default My New Project: SFO International Terminal

So for my current model airport project, I'm building a 1:500 scale model of the SFO International Terminal. I'm aproximately 50% done with it, as I have completed the main terminal and just have to do the two concourses. But here's the catch: it will all be built for under $7. Hopefully, I'll be able to post pictures in about 1-2 weeks. Comments?

Just a few questions for those who know about SFO than I do (and Google Earth/Google Images)

-Have they added in the gates where the old terminal used to be?
-How much of it does United occupy?
-Would the Herpa SkyTrain thingy work well for the AirTrain (or whatever the automated railway is called), or should I build my own equivalent?

Thanks!

I can't answer your questions, but I am eagerly awaiting photos of your finished project! For grins and giggles you might want to add the Grosvenor Hotel to your diorama. It is where the Airliners Memorabilia show is held each year. Perhaps you can also craft 1:500 people to represent some of the more famous vendors there such as Andrew Klein, Don Kaylor, Mike Chew, etc. Now that would be a hoot!

the herpa skytrain would work very well! you'd just have to create your own stations. also, if you really wanted to go a bit farther, you could spray paint herpa's the silvery metallic blue of SFO.
