Post Hamilton Intl Airport

I wish some pro at airport model making, would make a model of Hamilton Intl airport in New Zealand.
In December 2007 they opened their new international/domestic terminal, and the runway is being upgraded to better fit B767s, and maybe B747s. The runway is 2195m but its going up to 2750m. I went there the other day to have a look.
If I had time, apart from my other project, I'd happily give it a go. But I don't think there are diecast models of any freedom air aircraft, or air new zealand link aircraft.
Tell me if you would try to make HZL.

You scared me for a minute. I thought you were talking about Hamilton, Ontario's airport (John Munroe International) and wondered why anyone would build that airport. If you can call it an international airport. Wish you luck with your airport

I was thinking the same thing. Hamilton Ontario does have some good flights during the summer months on globespan to Europe. They are cheap and they are non-stop.

True but that's if Globespan can make it back to Europe. The same plane returned on at least 2 occasions with engine problems on the same engine.

I tried to create an airport from NZ , (as live there and work for anz) but have come stuck on the fact that there just is no regional planes in NZ COLOURS in the market, at present I have a lot more from QF!

herpa did a freedom air 737 a while back and I have the A320 in disney colours in 1:400 , also I have far 2 many 733s and 732's, 763's A320's and 744's already in ANZ colours,

still could do with - Saab 340, ATr 72, dash 8-300, ERJ 170 on the (order books)

also planned is Bae 146 in anz link colours.. I 'll be happy if we get that..

I would make NZHN but NZWN is closer and if I ever got round to spending some money on the proper materials, I would build an NZWN (but first I'd have to get some Air NZ planes.)

You should do what another member did and make your own custom planes out of Balsa.
I'm gonna give Whangarei a try I decided while writing this. (although it could end n two ways. Very good or very badly)
