Default Scalise International Airport

Hi everybody,
I want to remember one of the best airport I've seen: the Scalise International Airport. it has been built in 2006 and exposed in MXP from 01-07 to 31-10.
I think it's an amazing airport and I hope you'll love it too!

I've seen many if not all of the airports here at DAC and Wings 900 BUT I am "Awe struck" by this one! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! By far the best model airport I've ever seen bulit anywhere! That is alot of time, effort, money and love we're looking at. I can't believe I never saw before either! Scalise is now at the "top" of the mountain in my book!

thtas pretty darn crazy. i like the crash at the end of the runway haha. though the handwritten fedex signs are utmost lame. if you are gonna go all out on the modeling why not print some fedex signs off the net

Isn't it 1:500? A lot of the models pictured were never made in 1:400 scale.

Correct. That is in 1:500 scale. Judging by the Herpa Jetways.
Ah, 1:500. I don't like 1:500, lack of details, HIDEOUS landing gear ( cept its getting better) and its just too small. 1:400 is nice, not to big, not to small. 1:200 is expensive(usually), yet you get your moneys worth on a good buy. BTW, C-Rex, I think you can get the dirt at any hobby shop. Isn't it woodland scenics? I recalled seeing it once at mine.

Holy Kamoly! SH!!!!!!!! How long did it take to build this gigantor? Oh my gosh!!!!!!!!!! My airport plans and airport would pale in to comparison. Now I am ashamed to post my airport pictures.

That's one heack of a diorama! I can't imagine the time and money spent building it. Gotta love the the transparent hangar, especially when it's lighted!

your landing gears in 1:400 arent so much better either. the only ones i can think of are the recent rubber tires on geminis...

1:400 is also expensive and takes up a lot more space.

but anyways, nice airport, very detailed, though i do think that other than t2 and t6, the rest of the terminals looks a bit outdated. however, that's just personal preference, as i like modern terminals a lot more.

Imagine if this guy had to move house!?
There must be bucket loads of airport accessories with this diorama!
This goes to show how passionate people can be about their hobby - I am truely in awe of such a superb effort.

This is just crazy!

There are so many different things to discover in this diorama. Itīs a lot of everything. The construction area is my favourite. Thanks for showing this wonderful airport witch I haven't seen before. It inspirers me to develop my own airport.

Best regards
Henrik
