Smile Lighting

Ok, I have made the foil for my airport. Now I want to put in some lighting like a real airport. Can you post suggestions or comments? Thank you.

I don't want to order the fiberoptic system. It is too expensive and I live in China so the shipping would also be expensive. I know where to get the lamp posts, but how do you use fiberoptics?

fiber optics are basically clear plastic like cables that run wherever you want them to go and are lighted with one light source. one small LED could technically light up your entire display.

if you dont want fiber optics (which in my opinion would be the utmost easiest way to light a huge display) then type in SMD LEDs into google, you will definitely find what you need. be ready to solder till you die

Even thoug You dont't want to order th Herpa fibre system, You might want to have a loook at this explanation at Herpa's website

Living in China, where practically everything in the world is made, You should be able to buy some fibre components and build it Yourself.

Yes, You have to drill a hole in the base/foil and stick the fibre up from underneath.
