It doesn't seem like the three sections that make up the terminal line up correctly, at least going by the pictures posted on 400SH.

Dylan is quite true. When I bought my United 737-300 nc I got it there in Vegas and 3 days before it was due at the retailers. Getting GJ stuff early is definatly a perk to living in Vegas , the other being the WNFR

Mine arrived today, and I am in the process of setting it up. The plus and minus of it is the delicateness of the jetways. Its a plus, because they are very detailed....its a minus because in order to get that level of detail in 1:400 they had no choice but to make them on the delicate side. This sucker is big, and in order for me to get it set up I'm going to have to do some re-arranging of my existing handmade terminals. I'll probably also fool around with the jetway configurations and may cut-down some of the A380-compatible gates to better adapt it to my existing layout. All-in-all, Gemini is to be commended, both from quality of product and willingness to take a risk standpoints.

I too was schocked at the size of the model. I'm not using the A-380 side of the terminal as that part of the airport is flush against the wall. My man Dylan scored those gates from me....It was a little tricky at first configuring the gates properly so I could have 767's next to 717's, 737's and such, at the same time trying to maximize how many aircraft I could have sitting at the gates. My girlfriend who hates the hobby (yet she likes hello kitty) and a bunch of my friends loved the airport, and its amazing detail though.

Just wanted to say my GJ Terminal arrived 2 days ago and i was awstruck by the size and detail. The detailed jetways are awsome, you get to put your favorite airline logo on it and even the gate numbers too. They hit the nail on the head with this one!

I got my set and examined it carefully. It's actually not a very well designed or constructed model, but I still like it, since it has the potential to be a lot more. I've taken the middle section, and deconstructed it...removed the roof sections, the supports and the tram station. I also removed the windows (broke one of them). It doesn't matter about the breakage, I'm replacing them with transparent smoked PVC. I also opened the bottom of it, and I'm studying the electrical. I have two plans for this: I'll either replace the lighting with LED strips, or simply line the light recess with foil tape to reflect better. I'm trying for an even light distribution, to make the terminal seem well lit instead of a bright light, with dark areas (in a real terminal, this would be a problem). I'm planning to re-do the roof with more detail, and since I'm in the A/C business, I need some chillers on the roof (this building would need about 500 tons of cooling), so I'll fabricate two chillers. I'll be doing some creative painting in pastels on the building itself, so when I'm done, I'll figure out how to post the results of my experiment.

BTW, Dylan and Steve J are my inspiration, and their models are better looking and probably better constructed than this one. But theirs aren't available, so I'm making do.
