We are proud to announce the availability of a book dedicated to model airports.
One of our longtime members has decided to write a book about model airports. Inspired and in collaboration with several Wings900/DAC members, Lorenzo Pasquini (Lollomz) has published a book about models airports. For over 5 years, Lollomz collected pictures of the best airport dioramas he could find. From the small desktop airports to gargantuan dioramas with dozens of gates, passenger bridges and lights, he has been collecting them all and wrote this book to share his passion for model airports with all of us. ![]() Frustrated by seeing these airports disappear after a few years on the net, he decided to print a book. This book has over 50 pages of model airport pictures in color that will really surprise (and hopefully) inspire you. Instead of giving you step-by-step instructions on how to build your own airport, Lorenzo has decided to let the pictures do the talking and let you enjoy the wonderful pictures in this book. This is his first book about our hobby and he deserves not only our thanks, but encouragement and a big "thank you" for this invaluable addition to our hobby. Help show your support by getting your own copy. At €30, it comes out to less than a Euro per page - don't wait, contact Lollomz for your copy today! -The Wings900 Family Owners and Team Last edited by n1786b; 07-25-2007 at 07:04 PM. |

Great Lollo! I can´t build my own airport because my kids would love to "play" with it but I´d love to have your book here.
Can you tell me how much for shipping to Brazil. Thanks buddy. Otávio

Congrats on your publication! One question: what scale does the majority of the pics in your book represent? Also, are there any pics of your diorama?

Lollo,
super and thanks. Can't wait to see all the airports. Would this qualify for volume 2 of the book? It's 1/400 and based on the new Adelaide International terminal in South Australia. All scratch built, even the extending jetways initially based on the GJ ones. Tim Last edited by QFA388; 09-30-2007 at 07:24 PM. |
