Hi all, new user on DAC. Im building my own custom airport. Building it from scratch, not buying any ready made terminals or anything of that sort.
This is how it looks like so far. Its a 1:500 scale model ![]() ![]() And this is how the terminal will look like when its done. ![]() Tell me what you guys think so far. Regards okees |

Thanks for the comments guys. The height of the pier is 4 cm, overall diameter of the circle, or semi circle is about 1 meter. Its pretty cool. I started working on it about 2 months ago, but then i left the country for about a month and a half, and now im back on track. It will take me some time, especially since what i want to do requires a lot of patience and effort.. not to mention mullah. ill keep you posted with progress though.

Looks very professional.
Just wondering are there jetways or did you invent a thing so that the aircraft taxi into the hole for loading and unloading

Great design and 3-D rendering of your "finished" diorama. Your design reminds me of EWR. Please post more pics when you are done with your model airport. Thanks!

Welcome on DAC Okees, I think you're doing a very good job, your terminal is unique and very beautiful; why is it full of Alitalia planes? The AZ MD-11 is a great choice!
![]() I hope to see soon some new pictures, keep up the good work, ciao. Lollo |

thanks for the comments guys. Ya i will be adding a lot of detail to the entire airport. wont be leaving it like this. I have a lot of alitalia planes because my mom used to fly alitalia a lot, and everytime she would fly she would get me a set. They come in 3's. I love the MD-11 too.. by far the best plane in that collection! I will be expanding my 1:500 plane collection.. hopefully ill be adding more non alitalia planes! haha.. more pics to come soon!
