Default Southern California International Airport

This is my large 1:500 airport with primarily North American airlines. I have been working on it for about 18 months. I still have to finish the parking area.

Great work, willio! It's good to see some skylight on the terminal roof.

I'll post more pictures soon when I have time to take some more... thanks all for your kind responses!

willio

P.S. I found a new way to make taxiway lines while building this airport! I simply used an Expo dry erase marker, which, on a spray painted base, can be erased within about 5 minutes of being drawn on but dries completely after that. That way, I can fix my mistakes.

What did you use to build the terminal with? It kind of reminds me of Concourse A at Miami International.

Is there a copyright infringement at hand?

However I no longer use that name. Just please don't decide to rename your airport Oceanside!

Nice airport.

The roof is actually made of poster board. I was looking around a craft shop for poster board and was amazed by this stuff.

I might end up painting it, although I kind of like the simplicity of white and silver.

Default Silver And White

I like the silver and white. It's got a modern look to it

Right now, this airport is being completely redone (actually, it's more of a complete re-do since there are very few pieces of this airport being saved. The new Southern California International Airport will be 8 feet by 12 feet with an extention on one side to accomodate the 16 foot runway. Any suggestions?
