Default Late 60s PHX

I found a tiny little display case at the dollar store yesterday and figured I should do something with it. So (while not quite finished yet) here is the Frontier finger off Terminal 2 back in the day at KPHX.

Yeah, it even came with the airplanes!

JK

It was just a stained piece of wood that I painted to look like a tarmac.

Gotta tell tell that's a pretty sweet walkway. The "old" McCarran (LAS) had ramps like that in the 70's and you could feel the 100% plus heat in the summer. Nice touch with the Hughes "Big Banana" Airwest. Thanks for the Texas International's. Brings back memories.

I really like that, however I wish to know what the material is that you used to make the fence surrounding the walkway.

I found a roll of needlepoint material at the craft store and then painted it silver.

Any chance you might find the desert pink terminal that used to be in PHX? I went through there in '78 on Hughes... those were the days.
