Post My new Airport-pics

Hi guys, I know that you wanted me to make a custom airport, so here is just a little part of it so far. This airport has a custom foil only. srry for low quality.

thats looking extremely good billay!

you should make the ground "dirty" with jet exahust stains. run your fingers on a some pencil led or the tip of a pencil and smear it on. but thats if you wanna. =)

@samee, those jetways are from herpa, and I dont think that they would fit with 1/400 scale. No. they are not glued to the buildings. Glad you like it too and good luck with yours.

Oh yah, there is only 3 foils that go to this know, so that herpa foil is not part of it.

Thanks Planefreak! If you say its good, then it must be good!!! And yes, those ANA & Cathay make great diorama airplanes.
Great "new" start on PVG, howd you make those buildings, cardboard?

Much better! It looks like you've gotten some of the newer-style terminal buildings, too. I got a chance to see them in real-life in a diorama at The Airplane Shop, and it's really quite impressive.

samee380, you can probably use the jetways with 1:400 scale models, although you'd probably be restricted to smaller models such as the 717, 737, or even the A320, since the jetways are a little smaller. The door frames of anything bigger, like an A310, 777, or 747, might stick out of the jetway and make for an unrealistic scene. Of course, the Herpa jetways look a lot nicer than the Gemini ones, although you can't adjust the height on all of them.

Actually I sucessfully scaled down a Herpa 1/500 gangway, and it looks quite nice if I do say so myself Here are some pics,

As you can see here the gangway can be adjusted to a 747, or any heavies.

They do from flight miniatures, but its very low quality. Doesn't come with landing gear or anything. I have a few flight miniatures.

Billy,
that's a great job you have done with your airport.
You should be very proud of what you have made.
I like it.

What do you guys like more? I tried today with an all BA Terminal, but ran out of heavys to put so I had to put a new Royal A310. Ive tried Cathay, special shcemes, etc. What do you guys like, I have enough planes to do; Swissair oc, Lufthansa, Cathay(again) or American Airlines.

Billy,
My request would be AA and Swissair eventhough I live in Australia. I flew SR many times when I lived overseas. They are special to me.
keep up the good work,
Tim
