I have plans to build a model airport using the Herpa Large Airport Ground Foil.I am planning on getting it at Christmas. I am planning on designing my own A380 bording gates.

Welcome on DAC and good luck with your new airport! Personally I'd choose a different base for my airport, take a look at www.modelairports.net , you'll find a lot of interesting stuff there.
