Ok, the Bradley Airport (BDL) in 1:400 was demolished and made way for my little N scale train project. But how can a collector gowithout an airport?!
How we have started another one using the prvious experience but this time in 1:500 scale because I think it's a bit easier to manage and has more accessories for it. Only just finished the airport itself today and parked a few because it's getting a bit late but will keep you guys updated! ![]() ![]() ![]() Plus a background will go in with airbrushed clouds etc and just downloaded a bunch of airport background noise and will try to make a little film later! Also some yellow lighting perhaps but all the newer airports sems to be using white lights so will see...cheers |

Thank you sir! I was going to get two of those from our supplier but apparently only one left but I saw another at the warehouse the other day so I'll keep you posted on that but I just hold of a Herpa Emirites A380, PM me if you are interested.
Just bought the background, will install them tonight and see if I can entice a few more airlines to fly to my airport! ![]() Last edited by Iceman_c27; 11-06-2006 at 04:39 AM. |

Please also see the reply above, the A380's seems to be getting harder and harder to get. I'll keep you posted but if you are interested in a Herpa Emerites A380, please PM me.
I am trying to keep this airport with 'New Generation' aircrafts only and since the operation of the A380 is only to be in the near future (fingers crossed now that Airbus pushed back the delivery dates even longer now), shall we call this the 'Tomorrow Airport' [TMO]? ![]() Last edited by Iceman_c27; 11-06-2006 at 04:40 AM. |

I just wonder where in the world this could be... You have a Delta 737 or A320, (can't tell.. ) with a Quantas 737, and a continental 757... the rest of the planes could reach to any part of the world... but those three...in the same place at the same time...

Actually it looks like a Delta 762, Spirit of Delta perhaps?
How is your n scale project going. I collect a good number of O scale trains, and set up a large track around my living room for christmas. It is probably a 40 ft. circle so i have tried to create some long trains. |

Just discovered that you can buy printed backgrounds for mdel trains! I am buying some for both the airport and my train (which I am spending huge amount of time lately and the airport is been neglected). Let me know if you guys want to do a group buy. Cheers.
