Default Pittsfield International Airport

Back in 2003, I had started a model of an airport. I used that model as a testing ground for new techniques in airport design. Now, with the skills I learned, I have an updated and upgraded version of the old airport. The location of this airport is ambiguous. Thank you sasmd80 and airigami for the foils. This part of the diorama is Concourse H at Pittsfield International Airport:

This is one section of the airport, more additions will come in the next few months.

Nice airport - looking forward to see an overview.

One thing, did You print the foils in 100% size? If so they are printed at 1:400 scale. There seemed to be a little to much space around the 747. I assume the planes are 1:500.

If You print at approx 80% size (at least most HP printers offer this right in the printer driver), then the foils should be approx 1:500.

Actually, I had tested the large foils earlier, and they are perfect for the A380. I have three A380's so far - one Air France, one (old colors) Qatar, and one Emirates. I plan on buying a Lufthansa one soon. Also, the narrowbody foils at 100% fit a 767 perfectly.

New Update:
-Concourse H has been 90% completed. All that needs to be added are jetways.
-All photos relating to the airport are located here:

-The next phase is to build Terminal 5. I haven't settled on a design yet, so don't expect it to be completed for several days.
-The whole airport should be completed by Summer 2007

Finally, a paradise for foreign jet liners in the middle of the Berkshires. Pittsfield deserves an airport like this.

Default Fantasy Flights

Is anyone interested in fantasy flights?

My fleet is located at:
Wings900.com - My Collection Model Tracking System

In the meantime, I'm working on adding jetways.

Wow...it's been a while. Sorry for double posting and adding to my necro thread, but I needed to update you guys on how things are going. I've added several jetways (I have a few more on order) with HSBC titles and redoing the roof due to damages during moving. I'm in the process of adding this section to the whole airport. Once things get rolling, I'll be adding some pics.

A Fantasy Flight is the idea that if two collectors have the same model, they can simulate a flight between their two airports. There's no real purpose to it - it's just for fun. However, I was considering it earlier this year when I had more time, but now that it's been several months it's looking like I won't be able to.
In other news, I've been waiting for a new shipment of jetways for the airport as well as fixing some of the problems that have arisen as a result of a freak rain shower during transport. As for completion, it's a work in progress.
