Question Where to get Jetways

Hello everyone,

I was wondering where I could get some good jetways? Not the white Gemini ones, but the gray detailed looking style from herpa.

Do any of them move side to side, up and down, or extend and retract?

I greatly appreciate anyones help, Im working on an RJ airport.

The Herpa jetways are by far the best in my opinion. They do not retract and extend but they do just about everything else. Even though they are 1:500 they work very well with 1:400, especially Rj's.

Try getting them at any of the following retailers...

www.diecastairplane.com

www.airlinemuseum.com

www.justplanefun.com

www.jetwaymodels.com

There are many more places to get them, these are just a few.

Good luck on your airport!

Jetways and many Herpa's items in many stores: "Not Available, Sold Out or Backorder"
I'm looking for double jetways and hexagonal terminal time ago.
They are always scarce.

Does anyone have any pictures showing how the jetways released with the new terminal set look like with a 1:400 scale model? The GJ ones are a bit toylike, IMHO, but the grey Herpa ones don't exactly fit well with a 747.

Yes they are. I, and many other modelers, use them for 1:400 airports. I have the Herpa 1:400 scale accessories set that has a jetway in 1:400 and it looks too big when used with smaller 1:400 models, like 737's. The 1:500 scale jetways look very good with 1:400.

The new Herpa jetways are fully adjustable. You can adjust the height to fit everything from a CRJ to A380.
